THE UNPUNISHED TRAITOR

MILITIAS, PATRIOTS AND JUSTICE

The United States is likley to be soon entering a time of social protest and mass discontent.

Serious movements for social change are growing rapidly under the eyes of the Establishment but only a few see it. The patriot and militia movements have not disappeared; they are hibernating. In the hearts of those who yearn for a free society, there is nothing but disappointment at the betrayal of our constitutional birthright to live in a society where economic, personal and social liberties prevail.

Instead we have a national debt burden of several trillion dollars where the lives of the next ten generations have been mortgaged to pay for aid to dependent corporations, well connected defense contractors who sell $2,000. screw drivers, and interest on the national debt to Saudis and Japanese.

New couples starting out very often have to share quarters with other couples. Many will never be able to afford a home.

Still others will never be able to send their children to college.

We have a legal system where inverse 'justice' is too common, especially in family matters, where the courts produce victims and the lawyers are often eventually viewed as adversaries by not only the other side but also by their own clientele.

Consider some of the varied scenes from the recent past:

A Dallas, Texas man is held in jail for a year insisting that his name printed in capital letters does not refer to him, but to a government created artificial person. He says for this reason somebody else owes the child support, not him. He refuses a public defender after lingering in prison for a year.

A Warwick, Rhode Island man insists he won his traffic case by objecting to the "Yellow Fringe Flag" in the courtroom.

A Tampa, Florida man is jailed for establishing a "common law" court.

In a small New Hampshire town, a man with a land use dispute assassinates the town counsel, a selectman, and a planning board member.

A West Coast man chases his lawyer around a tree with a gun, in front of a national television audience. The scene is rebroadcast dozens of times, to the squealing delight of lawyer haters across the land.

In Montana, a white separatist splinter group calling itself the Freemen occupy a 900 acre ranch, refuse to vacate until a siege forces them out, and the negotiate with police to surrender to authorities. Many are indicted for trafficking in money orders that are deemed counterfeit, but which were apparently issued based on assets under "common law liens."

In Texas, a rebel movement called "The Republic of Texas" is formed which purports to declare Texas independent from Washington.

In Hamilton, Massachusetts a former Green Beret is ordered to leave his mansion home by a federal judge after a hearing where the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation has foreclosed his property.

Claiming fraud in the original loan and court proceedings, the home owner invites militia members from the area to help him defend his home.

Angry litigants are adopting quack theories, physically attacking judges and lawyers and bringing in a new dimension to the legal scene, insurrection. A court system that appears to be operating under siege will not enjoy the respect and confidence of the public. Yet the metal detectors and x-ray machines have been here for a while. What next?

Meanwhile, in a small town at the border of New Hampshire and Vermont, members of the militia movement are quietly converging and pondering what is to be done. The militia, driven underground after numerous police raids, was prominent in the 1990's when a strong belief existed among some that the Clintons were planning to surrender American sovereignty to the United Nations.

Welcome to the subculture of the Patriot Movement, an informal coalition of common law litigants, sovereignty activists, tax protesters, gun owners, militia members, jury rights activists, Constitutionalists, libertarians, anti-zoning protesters , men who've survived divorce court. and many others whose views converge in a general distrust of government, the legal system and the drift to what is called The New World Order.

I've been on the periphery of this scene, in strong agreement with its broad opposition to the status quo,and concern for the erosion of constitutional rights, but often annoyed by the recurring frequent quackery and bigotry, including strong doses of a sickening antisemitism directed at the legal profession and judiciary, as well as other targets.

Nevertheless, even a broken clock is right twice a day. The grievances which provoke extreme responses are part and parcel of the legal and governmental abuse which occurs every day across the increasingly authoritarian and corrupt landscape of America.

I've had the opportunity to converse with hundreds of patriots. I created the Citizens Justice Institute in 1993, designed to enable victims of legal and government abuse fight back when they could not find a lawyer they could work with or afford. Our seminars and books trained many people who had no idea of what was happening to them or to their property, their liberty and their rights because they had second rate lawyers, judges who had a class bias against them or were the victims of bureaucratic or legal bullies and predators, who are to be found in every community.

For a while in the 1990's I conducted a radio talk show on shortwave, on a Christian missionary station run out of Nashville, the radio home of radical rightists such as myself. I spoke about the FDA, IRS, SEC, Federal Reserve, zoning boards and so on to my heart's content, but I also listened carefully to my callers. The callers expressed varying degrees of frustration, disappointment and rage, towards the Clintons, towards police, towards judges, towards lawyers and to the secret societies and foundations which have apparent influence behind the scenes. Mostly evangelical Christian, they shared none of the libertarian views I held about pornography, drugs, prostitution, or gambling. But they were dead right about a whole lot of other things, including the bureaucracy, tax code, Federal Reserve , the UN and various conspiratorial cabals that are apparently up to no good.

The concern the right has about such mysterious secret societies is not without justification. Sixty Minutes not long ago profiled the Skull and Bones order which helps promote select Yale students to positions of influence. Three presidents, including our current one, have belonged to the group.

The Skull and Bones has evolved into a secretive, elite group of opportunists and power seekers who have an unsettling degree of influence.

The quite celebrated author Dan Brown's fictionalized account of the famous Bavarian Illuminati, Angels and Demons, is, according to Mr. Brown, based on an actual organization known as the Illuminati working behind the scenes to achieve power. The Illuminati date back three to five hundred years (depending who you believe), and according to Brown, were cited by both Winston Churchill and Woodrow Wilson as threats in the last century. No less a person than George Washington had also issued statements concerning the Illuminati. Mr. Brown discusses this at his own web site danbrown.com

Most people in the patriot and militia movements suspect these secret societies have the goal of promoting a government of the United Nations over the entire planet, usurping this country's constitutional form of government. But John Trochman, founder of the Militia of Montana, made it clear to me when I met with him in November of 1999 that he feared that China, through immigration, was attempting to slowly but surely overtake the United States. Whatever disagreements I may have with Mr. Trochman, he has reason to suspect China.

China is winning, of course, through finance, through exports, through out sourcing, through espionage and through widespread penetration of America where it counts, in science and technology, the stock exchanges, world commerce, geopolitical strategy and even domestic politics.

Well, what do us guys on the Right really want to be done about all this?

I am glad you asked.

As a self anointed spokesman for my co-thinkers on the Right, I am going to set forth

the Ten Demandments of the Patriot Caucus, which will be using usaexposure.com as a platform for a Constitutional Revival in America. The Patriot Caucus is building a web site at www.patriotcaucus.com

1. We want an immediate end of taxes on individual and corporate income as well as estates. We ask that instead a National Sales Tax be enacted to finance federal activities.

2. We ask for a termination of the regulatory activities of the entire alphabet soup of administrative agencies at all levels, and police powers limited to those enabled by common law. In other words, instead of having an EPA, the common law remedy of getting an injunction against a nuisance would be available, as it always is. If somebody is guilty of fraud in the sale of a stock or bond, prosecute him for fraud, not for failing to dot an "I" or cross a "T" in a prospectus. The securities laws keep entrepreneurs from raising money and serve mainly to jail and terrorize innocent people. The SEC ought to simply be abolished. Similarly the Federal Elections Commission keeps candidates from running from office and acts as a barrier to persons of modest means from raising money for a federal election.. The paper work is just too complex. In fact, the FEC and SEC are mirror twins of bureaucracy. One inhibits participation from the economy, the other inhibits participation in the democratic process.

3. It is time to abolish the Federal Reserve System, and fractional reserve banking. On these economic issues, there is a strong national security overlay. Eliminating a corrupt currency system ,a burdensome tax code and barriers to formation of business capital will help this country compete against China, India and Europe, and improve the quality of life for most people in this country.

4. Uphold our rights under the Second Amendment. End the drive towards gun confiscation at all levels. It is the right to own a gun that is our last protection against any dictatorial ambitions a leader may have. Encourage every mentally fit, able bodied citizen without a felony conviction to own a firearm.

5. Terminate American participation in the United Nations, NAFTA and GATT. Guard our borders and ocean frontiers vigorously, with the full knowledge that terrorists, criminals and illegal immigrants are on the way and must be sent stopped.

6. Require that all state and federal judges be elected, and stand for re-election, subject to recall.

7. Require by federal and state constitutional amendments that juries be fully informed of their right to nullify bad laws, and to vote their conscience.

8. Have laws rewritten to eliminate the need for lawyers in all but the most serious of matters. Laws must be written in plain English. It must be understood that the majority of the American people cannot afford the cost of a lawyer in a serious matter. Require trial by jury in divorce if any party wishes it.

9. Launch full and comprehensive investigations into the activities of secret societies and foundations affecting our government, security, sovereignty and economy. The role of the Bilderbergs, Skull and Bones, Trilateral Commission and Council on Foreign Relations should all be held to the closest scrutiny by experienced, well staffed, well financed investigative bodies.

10. Put an end to the dossier and surveillance state. The massive files on ordinary citizens, the political dossiers, the Project Echelon wiretaps, the huge databanks, data mining projects and so forth that are used by our federal masters to watch every transaction, monitor periodical subscriptions, library use, video rentals and the like must go.

If these demands are not met, society's tolerance for a dysfunctional and corrupt government which often appear to be at war with its own citizens will erode. People have little trust and confidence in government as it is. Reformers become radicals and radicals become revolutionaries when hope fades.

Ordinary people in all walks of life can use their abilities to do things like writing letters to Congress, letters to the Editor, calling in talk shows, picketing judges and crooked lawyers. Don't rule out civil disobedience, organizing sit-ins at law firms, court houses, bureaucratic offices and may be blocking traffic in the neighborhood where they live. Nothing like bringing the war home so the oppressor's neighbors can experience it.

What if a bullying cop found ten people picketing his house when he got home ? These guys can dish it out but never take it.

These folks are sensitive about what their neighbors think. Tell the neighbors what trash they live near.

If you have an extra $22.00, visit citizensjustice.com and buy a copy of Radical Planet. I am biased because I wrote it, but it has an excellent section on community organizing and protest as well as a strong plea for a return to what I call "constitutional capitalism." If you can't afford the book, print out the ad and ask your local library to order it.

Finally, help us build the Patriot Caucus. We want to build "Truth Committees" in as many communities as possible to promote a Constitutional Revival, to confront bullies, bureaucrats and bad lawyers and judges. usaexposure.com has a page specially reserved (over 33,000) for your city and town and will work with you to publicize the workings of your Truth Committee.

My phone number is not a secret. You can call me at 617-451-1884, or write to the Patriot Caucus at Box 294. Hull, Massachusetts 02045. Gifts are not tax deductible, but they are welcome.

We need talented people with the energy and resolve to make a difference. Your ability counts. Use it!
